Kitchenhams and Radikls celebrate 15 yrs of working together

Tony Raybould from Radikls recently met Grahame Austin from Kitchenhams to celebrate 15 yrs of working together.

Over this time Tony has looked after the marketing of Grahame’s website and has used his photography services for the business and some clients. To celebrate this long term relationship Grahame presented Tony with an aerial photograph of Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island which hangs in Tony’s office.

‘Radikls built my first website for my photography business and have continued to manage and develop this over the last 15 years. It is good to work together on projects and promote each other in Dorset.’

Buy Dorset held its latest event at The Norfolk hotel on Richmond Hill. There were 40 attendees who had a great evening.

Radikls Celebrates 15 Years of Business

The staff of Radikls recently held their annual beach barbeque and this year it was extra special as they celebrated 15 years in the web business. Originally started as Dorset Web, the business has become known as ‘Radikls’ as Managing Director Tony Raybould gradually expanded the business outside of Dorset. Tony says ‘We had to find a new name to cover all the areas of the UK and with purchasing new businesses in the Surrey and Sussex areas we came up with our brand name of Radikls which is in fact made up of all the initials of the family, including my ex business partner Ian who decided he couldn’t stand our British weather anymore and emigrated to Australia 5 years ago.

The web business has grown considerably since we started trading, in the early days we had to convince clients it was a good idea to buy their company domain names. Dorset Web Launches new Blast Cleaning site

One of our latest website launches is for blast-cleaning.co.uk.

Cleaning Consultants (Contractors) Ltd is a specialist blast cleaning company based in West Sussex. Blast cleaning is the process used for paint stripping, rust removal or cleaning or profiling surfaces.

The company has two distinct divisions. In-House work, things you bring to in to the works and a Mobile Division, where they come to you if you are in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire. The In-House Division caters for classic car and motor bike restorers, homeowners, hobbyists, agriculture, industry, anyone in fact that requires paint, grime or rust removed from practically any surface.

Dorset Web sponsors Hospice 10k event

Dorset Web have agreed to sponsor the website for the Bournemouth Pier 10k event for 2011, 2012 and 2013. Poole’s three hospices - Julias House, Friends of Forest Holme and Lewis Manning have teamed up to organise the event. The 10k run starts from Bournemouth Pier this year will also have a 5k and kids run and is looking to attract all the family(under-16s must be accompanied by an adult) and is open to both serious runners and fun runners. Dorset is in Kent?

Dorset Web Ltd have purchased a web company based in Kent. Waterside Designs is a Whitstable based company that had been run part time by a local businessman who now needs more time for other ventures. The client base includes clients like Aye Do a Scottish wedding ecommerce website, Tatty Bumpkin a franchise promoting yoga classes for children and organic clothing, Frank Bruno official website which includes a memorabilia section and an ecommerce site for Titanic Online selling autographs and memorabillia.

Taking to the skies

Airport Coordination Limited selected Dorset Web for its new online service called www.slottrade.aero SlotTrade helps airlines wishing to buy, sell, lease and swap scarce airport slots. It is open to all airlines to join and trade, and for interested parties to join and access slot trade information. Dorset Web created the logo, website design and system behind the concept.

Dorset Web to the rescue

Dorset Web under the trading name of Dorset Web Ltd, has recently acquired another Internet business based in Brighton, East Sussex. The business had sixty clients and helped turnover increase by around £30k per annum.

This follows the successful acquisition last year of Perfect Page based in the Surrey area.

Fine French foods suppliers Ballancourt have had to move to bigger and more efficient storage premises.

Husband and wife team, David and Michelle Marshall, founded this family run business in 2003 having lived in France for over 30 years selling British food to the French and Belgians. Having turned their business plan upon its head, they moved to Dorset and now assisted by their son Jean-David, supply delicatessens, farm shops, butchers and other independent retailers all over Great Britain and Ireland with a superb tasting quality selection of pâtés, terrines and rillettes.

They approached Dorset Web, their Internet solutions provider requesting assistance with their online marketing strategy and more specifically the task of increasing the numbers of site visitors and improving visitor to enquiry conversion.
