Our small team of experts is focussed on using the latest strategies to ensure that our website designs are SEO friendly and responsive. 


Customer Service & Renewal Administrator – starting from £21,000

Due to an acquisition we have a requirement for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to look after the day-to-day running of our after-sales department. Working independently, you will be fundamental in both the accurate processing of renewals, new services and one-off work delivering a first class service to customers at all times. You will report to the Managing Director and liaise with the Project Manager and outsourced Accounts company.  

You'll be responsible for:

  • Phoning clients to confirm renewals
  • Invoicing of renewals, new work and one off work
  • Answering any invoice queries
  • Dealing with customer service queries
  • Organising appointments for the Managing Director with clients
  • Liaising with the technical team regarding service queries and new work requirements
  • To undertake any other duties as necessary as requested by their manager
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures of the company

You'll have:

  • Good personal skills to talk to clients and the technical team
  • An understanding of Salesforce CRM & Xero accounts would be a benefit
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of working within a customer service environment
  • Good keyboard and telephone skills
  • Good multi-tasking skills along with time management skills

This opportunity is available in January and is full time on a permanent basis. Initially training will be office based but then the position will be home based.

SEO Executive Full Time – starting from £22,000

Are you an experienced SEO Executive based in Poole who is looking for a new challenge? Then this job could be for you!

Due to an acquisition Dorset Web is now looking to find an experienced SEO Executive who is able to work independently and will work mainly from home.  You will be working as part of a small team of technicians to help clients reach the top of the search engines, manage their pay per click campaigns and write copy for their Social Media channels like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The person should be an experienced SEO specialist with working knowledge of coding, you should be familiar with PHP, WordPress, mobile friendly websites, bespoke websites and have an in-depth understanding of SEO.


SEO Executive Responsibilities:

The SEO Executive will be responsible for analysing, reviewing and implementing changes to websites to meet our client’s expectations.   They will be expected to manage search engine optimisation activities for small and medium sized businesses such as content, links and key phrases.  Working as part of our multi-skilled team, you will have great understanding of the major search engines.

You’ll be an integral part of the team and will deliver projects on time and to budget, exceeding the expectations of our clients and managing the ongoing SEO needs of our client base.

As an SEO specialist, you will have day-to-day responsibility for the activities that will help our clients achieve strong rankings.  You will possess a number of SEO skills including:

  • A strong understanding of all aspects of SEO
  • Ability and background in copywriting to create interesting content and introduce keyword optimisation into a website
  • Social Media management of copy and images
  • Pay Per Click campaign management and analysis
  • Be experienced in interrogation of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and experience of coding including CMS, HTML, PHP and ASP
  • Ability to maximise search engine optimisation across a broad range of sectors
  • You will have the ability to liaise with clients and our web design team
  • A team player but be able to work without supervision using your own initiative
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar SEO role


 Website Project Manager / Team Leader - £23,000 - POOLE

This new role as Project Manager / Team Leader is required following an acquisition of a new portfolio of clients. You will manage and have day-to-day responsibility for a small team of 4 in the delivery of new web projects, website updates, SEO, Social Media, hosting, email and domain name services. You will have a strong background in website design and web development with PHP, WordPress, HTML, Bootstrap, mobile friendly websites and technical skills for email and hosting. Initially working with another colleague the role is mainly working remotely so if you have been home based in the past and can work independently this is key to this role.

The position will be at the hub of the operations and you will be the main person answering the phone to clients so you can manage their requests and resolve any issues quickly. You will be reporting to the Managing Director and liaise with the Administrator regarding invoicing of clients requirements. Occasionally you may be required to meet with a client for a review, training, content discussions or presentations. Weekly meetings are held with the technical team to discuss progress and new projects and ensure delivery of projects to agreed timescales.
