SEO Executive Full Time – starting from £22,000
Are you an experienced SEO Executive based in Poole who is looking for a new challenge? Then this job could be for you!
Due to an acquisition Dorset Web is now looking to find an experienced SEO Executive who is able to work independently and will work mainly from home. You will be working as part of a small team of technicians to help clients reach the top of the search engines, manage their pay per click campaigns and write copy for their Social Media channels like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The person should be an experienced SEO specialist with working knowledge of coding, you should be familiar with PHP, WordPress, mobile friendly websites, bespoke websites and have an in-depth understanding of SEO.
SEO Executive Responsibilities:
The SEO Executive will be responsible for analysing, reviewing and implementing changes to websites to meet our client’s expectations. They will be expected to manage search engine optimisation activities for small and medium sized businesses such as content, links and key phrases. Working as part of our multi-skilled team, you will have great understanding of the major search engines.
You’ll be an integral part of the team and will deliver projects on time and to budget, exceeding the expectations of our clients and managing the ongoing SEO needs of our client base.
As an SEO specialist, you will have day-to-day responsibility for the activities that will help our clients achieve strong rankings. You will possess a number of SEO skills including:
- A strong understanding of all aspects of SEO
- Ability and background in copywriting to create interesting content and introduce keyword optimisation into a website
- Social Media management of copy and images
- Pay Per Click campaign management and analysis
- Be experienced in interrogation of Google Analytics
- Knowledge and experience of coding including CMS, HTML, PHP and ASP
- Ability to maximise search engine optimisation across a broad range of sectors
- You will have the ability to liaise with clients and our web design team
- A team player but be able to work without supervision using your own initiative
- 3+ years of experience in a similar SEO role

Junior Website Designer - £23,000 - POOLE
This new role as a website designer will be to manage clients with technical issues with email and hosting, setting up emails and hosting services, text and image changes, Wordpress and Plug in updates, building new websites and implementing new SEO services to websites.
You will have a good background in website design and web development with PHP, WordPress, HTML, Bootstrap, mobile friendly websites and technical skills for email and hosting.
The position will be at the hub of the operations and you will be answering the phone to clients so you can manage their requests and resolve any issues quickly. You will be reporting to the Technical Manager and liaise with the Client Manager. Weekly meetings are held with the technical team to discuss progress and new projects and ensure delivery of projects to agreed timescales.
